U Mobile Sdn Bhd has begun to offer Facebook Credits to their subscribers in Asia.
Thanks to a collaboration with Facebook and MOL AccessPortal Sdn Bhd, the official distributor of Facebook Credits in Southeast Asia, U Mobile subscribers now have the option to earn Facebook Credits every time they reload their prepaid mobile.To get the free Facebook Credits, subscribers need only to "Like" U Mobile´s Facebook fan page, top-up their U Mobile prepaid account to receive a code via SMS, and key in the code into the U Mobile application on Facebook to utilize the free Facebook Credits.
For every RM20 top-up or more, subscribers will receive 2 Facebook Credits and 1 Credit with an additional reload of RM10. There is a daily cap of 20 Credits per user per day and a monthly cap of 50 credits per month.
"We understand the growing trends of social media in today´s ever changing communication landscape. We´re honoured that we´re able to further drive this trend uptake by our users via our partnership with Facebook," said Kaizad Heerjee, Chief Executive Officer, U Mobile Sdn. Bhd.
"I´m also happy to say that this is the first time that Facebook is partnering with any telco in Asia to give away Facebook Credits. This makes U Mobile the only telco service provider in Asia with this one-of-a-kind feature to offer its subscribers," he added.
Facebook Credits can be used to purchase digital goods and other enhancements for more than 600 social games and applications on Facebook.

"This collaboration with U Mobile and MOL AccessPortal will enable people to quickly and simply earn Facebook Credits for use in their favourite games and applications."
